At Teaspoon & Pound Media we thrive on creating entertaining and educational content about the human experience. We are intrigued by the nuances of diverse cultures and aim to produce content that gives viewers a fresh perspective. Our collaborations always begin with a compelling story. We add the logistical know-how, build first rate teams and walk you through from concept to screen. We help you

take your completed project one step further with a strategy for usage on social media platforms.

We combine the best and brightest talent in the industry to create programs that meet your budget and quality expectations. You don't have to have a background in television or film to tell your story. As a child of Haitian immigrant parents, Owner/Senior Producer, Tatiana Bacchus' American experience has been full of rich and diverse cultural experiences, even when it didn't seem that way.

Her inherent curiosity about the Black American experience left her feeling like an outsider looking in. As an actress turned producer, Tatiana saw an opportunity to tell stories that would fill in the "cultural literacy" gap that has become commonplace in the American "salad bowl." Tatiana Bacchus, Owner/Senior Producer of Teaspoon & Pound Media, LLC, is an emerging independent filmmaker, who curates the ancestral wisdom of invisible characters by telling their untold stories. Tatiana is currently working on her first feature length documentary, Freedom Denied, which posthumously tells the story of Jean-Baptiste Edvard Pierre’s near decade-long battle for political asylum in the United States, as told by the attorneys and community activists who fought for his freedom. Tatiana is also creating original programming, such as her children’s show - On the JOB with Lani Lou. Her doc series Connectors will focus on local emerging independent media makers. This summer Tatiana’s Teaspoon & Pound Media produced content in support of the Debbie Allen Dance Academy’s Brothers of the Knight tour. Tatiana also produced the live event Entrepreneur Works Presents Debbie Allen.

As a freelance producer, Tatiana has production managed shoots at The Andy Warhol Museum, The Mütter Museum, and the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center. She served as both production manager and assistant director for the short film Musée Fantastique, for which she worked alongside Director of Photography Svetlana Cvetko (Inside Job, 2011 Academy Award for Best Documentary) and managed a crew from Philadelphia, New York, and Los Angeles. Tatiana has also produced artist videos for the Leeway Foundation and documented performances of Pasión y Arte for the First Philadelphia Flamenco Festival. A working actress for over a decade, Tatiana toured nationally with Theater IV and ArtReach children's theater, and is often seen in local television commercials. She earned praise for her supporting role in the independent film No Boundaries, and appeared as a principal character in the PBS pilot episode of Alan Alda’s Brains on Trial last fall. in Psychology from Temple University. Her production experience was learned on the job and her inspiration comes from life. She continues to hone her technical expertise, achieving certification in editing, field production, studio crew and studio production at PhillyCAM. Tatiana is a Leeway Art and Change Grant Recipient. She continues her life's work as a filmmaker, producer, and performing artist.

Hey there. We've been kinda quite pandemic parenting, practicing self care and preserving mental wellness. That meant taking a step back from consistent communication. We hope you have been finding ways to stand in the light in the midst of so much chaos, pain and loss. We are grateful that where there is darkness, light can follow. We are working hard to stand in the light and shine that light and love outward into the world. We anticipate picking up posting more regularly again in the near future as resources become available. Thank you for hanging in there with us. We hope that you too are prioritizing your health, wellness, safety and community connectedness.
