Big news for Opal & Lark Creative!

We’re opening our tiny storefront in downtown Williamston!

We will be having a soft opening on Saturday, September 19th, alongside Williamston’s So Long to Summer Patio Party.

Stop in, say hello, peek around the new space, and see what we’re working on. This is just the beginning!

Opal & Lark will be a home for photography, local art, creative classes, workshops, pop-ups, and opportunities to support local artists and makers - with plenty more to come!

🎓 Senior Sneak Peek | Evan • Class of 2027 • Lake Fenton

I first met Evan about a year ago, and somehow, in the blink of an eye, he’s already getting ready to start his senior year!

We managed to get some great shots in before Mother Nature decided to sprinkle on us and cut our session a little short. But that just means we’re not done yet. 😏

Part 2 is coming—and it’s going to be epic.

A New Chapter Begins...

Back in 2010, I started a little photography business with my trusty camera, a creative itch to fill, and absolutely no idea where it would lead. Thanks to all of you and a little word-of-mouth, it became the creative outlet I didn't know I needed. I've laughed with your families, chased toddlers through fields, and met some really incredible people along the way.

As life has changed, one thing has never changed - my love for creating. Over the years, I've had to slow down, focusing on raising my family and building my career. While my family will always come first, I'm excited for this new season - a chance to make more room for creativity, to create alongside my daughter and others, and to see where this next chapter leads.

Today, I'm excited to introduce the next chapter...

The name is a quiet nod to the two people who inspire me most -my children. If you know them, you'll probably figure out who's who. 😊
