ANOTHER TALENTED STAR HAS LEFT US FAR TOO SOON

Yuri Nakamura has sadly passed away at just 44 years old, her agency announced today.

Nakamura died following a long battle with re**al cancer. Despite undergoing treatment, she continued working for years and remained dedicated to her acting career. Her agency shared that she spent her final days surrounded by family and close friends.

She first entered the entertainment industry as part of the duo YURIMARI before establishing herself as a versatile actress. Her breakthrough performance in Pacchigi! LOVE & PEACE earned widespread recognition, followed by appearances in films and dramas including Like Father, Like Son, Detective vs. Detective, Kurosagi, Plage, and Konya wa Ko no Ji de.

Even while facing serious health challenges, Nakamura continued pursuing her craft and preparing to return to work.
