One of our past Economic Club luncheon speakers, 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐭, has been elected to the 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐟 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐞! This prestigious honor places the esteemed Head Golf Professional at the Country Club of Lansing among some of the most influential figures in the sport.

Lindert, who was elected President of the PGA of America in 2022, has received numerous accolades throughout his career. His speech at our luncheon left a lasting impression, as he spoke about the power of networking and the importance of blending passion with purpose—especially through golf.

His recognition comes at the perfect time, as we gear up for the much-anticipated 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐟 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏𝟐!

The Christman Company places 75 in national ENR contractor ranking

The Engineering News-Record (ENR), a news outlet known as the authority for tracking the construction industry, has placed The Christman Company (Christman) at No. 75 on its 2025 “ENR 400” list of the top 400 contractors nationally, rising 12 places in the last year. Overall rankings were calculated according to 2024 construction revenue.

“This recognition reflects the power of collaboration,” said Christman’s President and CEO Steve Roznowski. “Our rise in the ENR rankings is a direct result of the trust our clients place in us, the strength of our many partnerships, and the dedication of our people. At Christman, we believe great achievements happen when we are united—and that’s ‘The Christman Way.’”

The Christman Company also made the ENR Top 50 list for domestic building/manufacturing revenue for the first time, ranking No. 46.

“With a continued focus on building lasting relationships with our clients and industry partners, we are proud of the impact we’re able to have in Central Michigan communities,” said Craig Smith, vice president and general manager of Christman’s Central Michigan operations. “We are incredibly grateful for the hard work of our team members that continue to make our daily work so successful.”

Christman rises to No. 75 on ENR's Top 400 list and debuts at No. 46 in Top 50 for building revenue.

The Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce (LRCC) hosted a celebration to mark the 10th anniversary of Leadership Lansing at a Lansing Lugnuts baseball game.
