Today we’re spotlighting a long-standing Lansing institution: the Lansing State Journal.

Operated by Gannett as part of the USA TODAY Network, the paper and its predecessors have been publishing in Michigan’s capital city since April 28, 1855.

Originally known as the Lansing Republican, later the State Journal, it officially became the Lansing State Journal (LSJ) in 1984.

Today, the LSJ publishes news online daily, along with a daily print and e-edition, continuing its legacy of keeping our community informed.
