MY HUSBAND MISSED OUR FIRST BABY'S BIRTH – AFTER DISCHARGE, I RETURNED ONLY TO A CREEPY NOTE IN THE CRIB AND AN EMPTY HOUSE

So, my husband Michael and I planned to be together for the birth of our first child. We had everything planned — down to the music and the tiny hat he'd put on our baby. But guess what? When the time came, he was a NO-SHOW.

The nurses kept trying to reassure me, saying he was probably just delayed. But deep down, I knew something was wrong. When our daughter Emily was born, I was overjoyed — but where was Michael?

After two days in the hospital, I went home with Emily, trying to convince myself that there was some reasonable explanation. Maybe work? An accident?

But nothing could've prepared me for what I found. The house was dead silent. I ran upstairs to the nursery, thinking he might be there preparing a surprise for me. HONEYMOONERS TRIED TO MAKE MY FLIGHT HELL AS REVENGE — I TAUGHT THEM A STRICT LESSON.

It was a 14-hour flight, so I paid for a premium economy seat because I wanted to be comfortable.

The person in the seat next to mine asked if I could switch seats with his wife as they had just gotten married and were on their honeymoon.

I congratulated him on his nuptials and asked where his wife was sitting. He pointed toward the back of the plane. In economy.

I declined to switch seats. He asked if there was any way to convince me. I offered to switch if he paid the difference between the seats, AU$1,000.

He smirked and refused. I congratulated him once again and put in my earbuds. From then on, he decided to spoil my flight. Suddenly, he started:

- coughing loudly;
- watching a movie without his headphones;
- dropping crumbly snacks on me;
- and finally, his wife literally sat on his knees, invading my space, arrogantly GRINNING.

I was FED UP, but decided to make a play.

A $30 CAKE DESTROYED MY MARRIAGE – I FOUND THE PERFECT WAY TO SERVE MY REVENGE.

On my husband's birthday, the doorbell rang, and I rushed to answer it, only to be greeted by a cake delivery. I hadn't ordered anything, but with my hands full of party preparations, I just signed for the delivery and popped the cake in the fridge, assuming it might be a surprise gift from someone.

Well, it was definitely a surprise, but not in the way I expected. As the guests arrived and my husband enjoyed himself with family and friends, I took the cake out of the fridge and opened the box.

DURING AN ARGUMENT ON THE ROAD, MY HUSBAND THREW ME OUT OF THE CAR 30 MILES FROM HOME – KARMA HAD THE LAST LAUGH

We were driving home from a weekend getaway. We had a great time, but on the last day, my husband got jealous of our waiter, which led to a pointless argument that dragged on the entire way home.

We were about 30 miles from home when my husband really hit BELOW THE BELT.

"I DOUBT YOU WOULD HAVE HELD BACK FROM FLIRTING IF I WASN'T AROUND!" he said.

That hurt. I would never, under any circumstances, cheat on him. So I told him a few choice words that you shouldn't say around kids. He abruptly stopped the car and said, "GET OUT AND WALK HOME!"

I got out, slammed the car door, and started walking. Little did I know, fate was about to teach him a lesson and save me within 15 minutes, because ⬇️

"I just wanted us all to be together," I replied. "It feels right, you know?" I sighed. Jeez, I need to explain more. "I was just thinking about when Camilla and I first moved in here. We had our first dinner in this room because it was the only one with any furniture. Remember how you all helped us set up?"

"Yeah, we remember it, buddy... What the hell is going on?" my sister said. Oh, poor girl... Suddenly, I noticed — Dad wasn't here.

"Where's Dad?"

Mom hesitated. "He's working late, can't make it."

"He has to come!"

"Cole. He'll come tomorrow."

"No! He has to come today!" I insisted, raising my voice. It's urgent.

My sister stepped closer to my bed. "Calm down, Cole."

My friend Michael nodded. "Yeah, man, you're not dying. Relax."

I looked at him with no answer. He turned pale, as did everyone.

"I don't… I don't know how much time I have left," I finally said, barely whispering. Damn, it's so hard to say...

"What does that mean? Are you... are you sick?" Mom asked, stepping closer to the bed.

Michael's voice shook, "Let's go to the hospital, now!"

"I was there. They said there's no point in keeping me there; they can't do anything to help," I explained.

"Oh dear God!" Mom said, crying out loud. "Where's your wife?! Where's Camilla?!"
