Fox Pointe closed out August with TWO unforgettable nights!

México En El Corazón lit up the stage with vibrant music, breathtaking dance, and authentic culture. Residents and guests packed the venue to celebrate tradition, energy, and community spirit.

Then, Run Forrest Run brought the ultimate 90’s throwback to our Wednesday Night Concert Series! From high-energy hits to nostalgic sing-alongs, the night had everyone reliving their favorite childhood memories.

Friday Night Lights lit up with the incredible Joe Elvis Torrito, who brought the spirit of The King to life with a high-energy tribute to Elvis Presley. From the iconic hits to the signature moves, it was a night to remember!

Then on Wednesday, fan-favorites Maggie Speaks made their return to the Fox Pointe stage! With a world-class sound and a genre-spanning setlist—from Maroon 5 to Earth, Wind & Fire—they had the crowd singing and dancing all night long.

On August 9th visitors to Lansing packed the downtown for Cruise Nights. Cars, bikes, trucks, and more lined the streets giving motorists a chance to showcase their rides!

Then people came over that evening for Fox Pointe's Cruise and Groove featuring Big City/Kevin Friend & 20/20.

On August 13th Southern Accents returned to the Fox Pointe stage with their take on Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Fans came out in droves to dance and enjoy the energetic vibe.

Then on August 15th, the Village of Lansing celebrated Marie Keller's 101st birthday with a cake and reminiscing over the good times with the Mayor, Police Chief, and many more from the village.

Fox Pointe welcomed Doug Horne & the Rhythm Makers to the stage for Friday Night Lights! From swing music to jazz classics and more, it was a great way to start the night.

Unity of Fungk Show Bank took the stage next, closing out the night with their energetic non stop funk showcase.

The Northwest Symphony Orchestra returned to Fox Pointe! And the Village of Lansing honored Maestro Kirk Muspratt with an appreciation award for his 25th season as conductor. Many came out bringing their own snacks and relaxed to some classical pieces.

Rod Tuff Curls and the Bench Press also made a return appearance, and the crowd went wild for their enthusiastic pop renditions.

Lansing hosted this years Little League State Tournament. Teams from all over Illinois came to Lansing to duke it out for the top spot! And Lansing's own Mayor, Brian Hardy, threw out the first pitch.

Fox Pointe had it's first Bands, Bikes, and Brew event. People could come check out the bike show, then grab a Brew and enjoy some rock and roll music.

Later in the week, Fearless an Unofficial Taylor Swift Tribute took to the stage for the Wednesday Night concerts. The place was packed with Swifties dancing and singing along.

Marrakesh Express took to the stage this week. Fans packed Fox Pointe, dancing and vibing with classics from Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young.

It was a busy week for fun events in Lansing. Cruise Nights, and Cruise and Groove were both held on June 14th. The community came out to view cars from all eras up and down ridge roads downtown. Then many walked over to Fox Pointe to hear music from Heavy, and Party Foul.

On June 17th, the Lansing Police Department in conjunction with other departments around the world ran for the Special Olympics. Police, public officials, and residents all came together to bring awareness for the event.

On June 19th, Lansing celebrated Juneteenth at Fox Pointe. Many displays had historic pictures, and information, while the main program had speeches denoting the importance of the holiday. It finished with dancing for all in attendance and mingling around the Pointe.
