The Lansing Veterans Memorial Ceremonial Honor Guard will commemorate Veterans Day with a special ceremony to honor all who have served on Sunday, Nov. 9, at 2 p.m. at the Lansing Veterans Memorial. This event is open to the public, and all are encouraged to attend and pay tribute to our nation’s veterans.

The Lansing Veterans Memorial is located at the corner of Burnham Avenue and Glenwood-Lansing Road—just steps from the Historic Ford Hangar.

*The event will be moved inside the Historic Ford Hangar if necessary.

This Halloween season, Fox Pointe held their annual Trick or Treat event where kids in the can get candy from various local vendors, show off their costumes, and have a fun day with community.

To celebrate the Halloween Season, Fox Pointe hosted it's annual Trick or Treat and Spectacular Showdown this past Saturday October 25th.

Over 2,500 people attended for a day of family fun, getting candy, and seeing all of the cool costumes.

Lansing held its Shredding Event on October 18th, and despite the rain, residents came out to safely dispose of their documents while supporting the Lansing Food Pantry. The Village was proud to offer this valuable service to the community, collecting both food items and monetary donations for local families in need.

Events like this highlight the generosity and community spirit of Lansing’s residents.

Trick-or-Treat at Fox Pointe! 👻

Join us for a fun-filled afternoon of Halloween excitement at Fox Pointe on October 25, from 2–4 PM! This free family event is the perfect way to celebrate the spooky season in a safe, festive environment.

For Families:
Bring your family in costume to trick-or-treat from booth to booth — over 60 groups participated last year, and we’re expecting even more candy this time!

For Businesses & Organizations:
Volunteer to hand out candy to more than 1,500 children while showcasing your group or organization to the community.

Spooktacular Showdown:
Don’t forget to vote for your favorite Halloween scene and decorations during the event!
