I was here previously from 1990 to 2004 and was part of the first news team to start a morning newscast on WLNS. I have over 30 years of experience forecasting weather in Michigan. I started in radio, providing weathercasts during the night for WJR-AM in Detroit for 13 years. The remainder of my work has been primarily in television. I am a licensed Ham Radio operator and will occasionally storm-c
hase and report severe weather as a SKYWARN Spotter. I’ve been married to my wife Jane for over 25 years. We love to travel and are both certified scuba divers. Some of our travels have taken us to the Aruba, Bonaire, Sint Maarten, Saba, St. Lucia, The Bahamas, Mexico, Hawaii and Tahiti, just to name a few places. We are also avid roller coaster enthusiasts and always make it a point to visit Cedar Point at least once a year. We have a dog, Stormy, who is our third cocker spaniel that we’ve adopted. We are also volunteers with Habitat for Humanity.
