Join the creative team behind NORTHBOUND as they unveil the newest game-changing chapter in their post-apocalyptic film series shot entirely in the Upper Peninsula!
In 2014, brothers Seth and Nathan Anderson, along with producer Jason Hagen and associate producer Fay Mannon-Rahoi began a collaboration with area creatives to shoot a proof of concept for a feature film set in Dickinson County. What came out of this process is NORTHBOUND, a post-apocalyptic series set in a near-future American wilderness. Since then, this UP-based team has successfully produced 2 full seasons of NORTHBOUND as a web series, which is available to view for free through the Minneapolis-based online outlet Seeka.tv
In mid-2019, production commenced on the 3rd and final season of NORTHBOUND, but world events put a halt to shooting. Now, the team is ready to finish what they started. Shot carefully over the course of 2020, “Hannah’s Way” is the first full episode of NORTHBOUND Season 3, focusing on Hannah (Waiting for Wiig’s Alisha Mondloch), and Stephen (X-Files’ Dan Klass), two new characters with deep ties to the central mystery of the series.
Shot on location in Dickinson County and Houghton County, this exclusive one-night-only screening at the historic Braumart Theatre in Iron Mountain is a great chance to catch up and support the series, meet the creators, and learn more about how you can be involved in future production dates.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids, with all attendees entered in a chance to win unique raffle prizes. All ticket sale proceeds will help fund the final round of NORTHBOUND production, which was impacted financially due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Series co-creator Seth Anderson says, “the community we’ve built around this series has been very patient through 2020, and I’m excited to show this first taste of just how far we’ve come. It’s my hope that “Hannah’s Way”, and the final season of NORTHBOUND to follow will point the way for a future where filmmaking is within reach for anyone with a dream, wherever they live.”
