Well programmed Functional Movement Training ensures you’re hitting all of the main movement patterns you experience in your daily life.

As you go through your day today, think about the different movement patters you’re using- from pulling the Brita out of the fridge to pouring a cup of coffee to bending over to tie your shoe.

2024 & we’re upgrading baby!!! This years app programming will have 5 unique workouts every week😳💪🏼so you never have to think about what workout you’re going to do when you walk into the gym (or your home gym). The programs will be quarterly, so each quarter we’re switching up the focus of the program so you never get bored & you never your workouts never plateau💪🏼 (you can always repeat another quarters program if the current one doesn’t speak to you!).

New program launches Jan.01 but in the meantime, you can try my app out for 7 days free. Use my Build Your Core or Mobility programming to get some good movement in during the holidays to set you up for a solid new year. “I’ll start in January” isn’t an option- get moving today. All I hear from the love notes are “you’re really the best” “that workout was fantastic” “I’ll never leave you” 😇🤗

Honestly, though, both types of messages really do keep me going 🙌🏼. I’m so grateful to be able to do what I do every day & my clients are a huge reason for that🫶🏼 (even on days they want to 💀 me).

Hack your habits: Start small -no- start micro.

Of all of the habit books and habit research I’ve read, the common theme of it ALL is to go small.

Go tiny.
Go atomic.
Go micro.

If you truly want to create lasting habits in 2024, you have to start micro. **It’s even smaller than you think it is.**

I know when you’re motivated to create a new habit, you want to dive in head first. But 2 days (maybe a week or two) later the motivation will fade and your habit will feel overwhelming and you’ll stop. When you start micro, you can always fall back on that tiny part of the habit that is so small you won’t be able to talk yourself out of it.

FMT FTW🙌🏼 Over the last 6+ years of personal training, I’ve increasingly shifted my focus towards purposeful, functional workouts and integrated mobility work. The workouts I do with my clients (& the ones I do myself) are specifically programmed for building a foundation for sustainability and longevity.

I’ve always said “all movement counts” as a way to say “just get out there and do ANYthing to move”. While I still absolutely believe this, adding intentional movement is essential as well.
