Amazing week with our Artists In Residence for April 2026. The “Elephant Four” (pals Pedro, Connor, Gabe and Sean) were our first studio clients to come stay in the Buddy Cabin and hunker down for a full week of mad ingenuity and fun. Can’t wait to get these tracks finished!

We couldn’t be more excited to share Sidewalk Symphonies! Thank you to everyone who helped us make this happen plus incredible featured artists and Patrick Leslie and to the amazing Ethan, who made this such a great experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better first record to produce at the Holler. Looking forward to lots more (including more from Ethan 😘).

As 2025 comes to a close we’d like to highlight a few of the amazing projects we got to work on since we opened the studio August 1st. was the very first artist to bring her incredible talents to Buddy Holler. is recording his first full-length album with us. And introduced us to Winding River String Band, a local trio who wanted to record their first song. You can stream all of these artists on Spotify now. We also got to work with and plus meet lots of the High Country’s finest musicians. We are SO excited for what 2026 will bring for us and for the campus and we hope you’ll be a part of the magic in Cheers to a new year! 🤘

We're thrilled to announce we're supporting Ethan Grillo's first studio album, 'Sidewalk Symphonies.' Ethan's story is one of resilience and passion, busking on the streets of America to pursue his dream. Now, he's ready to bring his music to life with the help of talented session musicians and a professional studio.
This will also be Buddy Holler's first project, a vital step in our aim of increasing access to resources for Appalachian musicians. We're raising funds to cover the costs of recording, coaching, paying local session musicians and more.
