Stephanie Lewandowski - Fit Balance Life and laughter. Food and Fun. But I truly believe that you need to take care or yourself to be the best person you can be for the people you care about.

I am a busy wife, mom to a crazy teenager, and full-time Senior Client Services Associate, so I get that finding time for YOU is hard. Remember, when you are on an airplane...you put your oxygen on first. I've traveled a pretty interesting path in my life so far. I've lived all over the Midwest...in medium sized towns, big cities, and suburbia too. But no matter where I am my heart will always be

in our beautiful state of Michigan. I was diagnosed with celiac disease in 1997...way before gluten free was 'cool'. At 33 I became both a mom and a young widow. And at 37 I remarried a wonderful man that I met on the internet. Who knew?? Fitness and nutrition has definitely shaped my life in the past few years. Now that I'm in my 50s, I am working on keeping my focus on health rather than on the scale. I follow an overall healthy nutrition plan and stay away from fad diets. But, of course, because of my celiac disease must follow a 100% gluten free diet. This is a medical necessity for people with celiac. It is not a choice. My dreams have goals have also taken me in a slightly different direction these past few years. Finding space and quiet in a world of chaos can be tough but it can heal us mentally and physically. I would love it if you'd join me on this journey. We never know what life is going to throw at us on a given day, week or year, but you know what? That's what makes it interesting. I am a day late...and after yesterday more than a few dollars short. 😂

But wanted to take a minute to wish this kiddo a Happy 22nd Birthday!!

We did the chocolate cake this weekend so yesterday was a trip to Sweet Encounter Bakery & Cafe for gluten free goodies, sushi for lunch and sidecar for dinner.

The best part was that I got to spend some one on one time with my kiddo hanging out in the 517. Those days are rare but when they happen...chef's kiss!

He is still figuring his way in life. But then again, so am I so I'd say he has some time. What has never changed is his sweet sweet self and heart of gold. 😊

Happy Happy Birthday Kenny!! (I know you go by Ken now but you always be Kenny to me.) 🥰
