We’ve all seen it and probably done a double-take: cars driving with snow piled high on top or just a tiny “peep-hole” cleared on the windshield. It may look wild, but it’s also dangerous and illegal. Michigan law requires drivers to clear snow and ice from windshields, headlights and taillights, since flying snow and ice can put others at risk and lead to a citation or liability in a crash.
