Recent finds, part 1. I’ve been bad about keeping up with posts. Here’s what we’ve found in the last couple of weeks (excluding yesterday). Some of our favorite fields have been flattened and plowed and the rain has made things pop up to the surface. It’s been a surface hunter’s dream, but Jeremy has been digging fun things too. Enjoy!

Made a couple trips out this past weekend before I had surgery on my knee. The weather was spectacular! We’ve had a really great Spring here in Southeast Louisiana. One of our favorite fields has been cleaned up and leveled, which made for easy pickings on the surface finds. Jeremy struck silver, finding the end of a sterling silver baby spoon, and I found some of my favorite usual suspects, including a glass bottle stopper and brown and blue Bennington marbles. Really fun weekend! We will be taking a break for me to heal my knee and for the flooding rain we are getting today to end and the fields to dry. Enjoy!
