Des Moines Iowa radio station 93.3 KIOA discovered a massive roll of toilet paper at their local Target. I never knew such a thing existed!

But dear gosh, why would you need such a big roll.. as a novelty instead of 4 regular sized ones?

A couple of thoughts come to mind this morning..... 1.) Facebook and youtube knows me well. 2.) I love reliving childhood memories 3.) I love how stuff that is old is new/cool once again.

I was scrolling through the Youtube shorts this morning and it showed me this and it brought back some memories almost immeidately even though I havent thought about Mr Wizard in years if not decades.

Mr Wizard made science so much fun and easy to understand!

One of the things I remember about tv show I watched as a kid is their intros and the youtube channel for his show has a video of just the intro and that heightened the memories that came flooding back while watching this on youtube this morning.

Today is a bittersweet day for me and our family. One, after 13+ years, today was my last day of hosting the Morning Show on Hits 106.

Today also marks the one year anniversary of my Dad's death, Robert A. Campbell or Doc Campbell as many of his Lab School or Prep students called him.

Over the course of nearly 20 years of teaching at Prep, he touched the lives of 100s of students and the lives of virtually everyone he met. Doc just LOVED people and never seemed to meet a stranger! He also loved animals and the beauty of SE Wyoming.

My final show as Hits 106 Morning Show host is underway ...

How lucky I am to have done something that makes saying "Good-bye" SO hard. But all good things come to an end. Starting at 8 am until 10, feel free to come by our studios at 413 Garfield and share a memory ahead of my birthday Sunday.

To our loyal listeners, thank you for your kindness, stories and all of your calls. You're the best and you will be missed! It's been an honor and a pleasure working to make your day a little brighter!!
