The trail was heavily eroded with deep ruts ready to twist a foot or grab a mountain bike tire. At least that is how it appeared before the trail crew arrived.

Because of the efforts from volunteers with the Trail Fairies, the section of trail was transformed in fairly short order. The ruts were filled, water bars built to reduce erosion, and all was tamped down, ready for hikers, runners and bikers. ...
