Giving Tuesday is coming up on December 2nd, 2025 — a day when people all over the country support the nonprofits that strengthen their communities.
Many Albany County organizations are participating this year, including Downtown Clinic, which provides free medical care to neighbors who have nowhere else to turn.
The Downtown Clinic shared the story of Evan, who came to them last spring after three years without seeing a doctor — no insurance, no money, and no safety net. Thanks to community support, he received the care he needed. This is the kind of impact Giving Tuesday helps make possible.
So far this year, The Downtown Clinic has provided more than 3,000 appointments and served 374 patients across nine different languages. Every week, three new people walk in their doors hoping someone will care. Donations help make sure that care is there when they need it.
