Starting by singing to the people when she was a child while working in the fields. Her background being Native American, Inca, and Hispanic is what gives her the deep feeling soul sound in her music. When she sings it touches people to the core and moves them to a place where they only dream of going. She claims this is a gift from Great Spirit along with her Drums and is doing her best to get both out to as many people as possible. This she says is her Spiritual Journey and her work on Earth Mother this round. She is a three time NAMMY/GRAMMY Winner and has been nominated four times. She has also received two ISMA (Indian Summer Music Awards) to her credit.
