This is a failure of leadership. Job Corps has been a lifeline for underserved youth across the country—especially in marginalized communities. Suspending operations without a solid plan or support system is reckless and harmful. These students deserve better. They don’t need red tape—they need resources, direction, and opportunity. We can’t talk about building the future while pulling the rug out from under the next generation.

Job Corps centers nationwide and in metro Atlanta have been ordered to stop operating by June 30.
