Range Control has the following blocks affecting area highways on the following day: Tuesday, June 23, 2026. Hwy 70 is scheduled to be blocked two times at 6:40 AM for approximately one hour with a second block TBD located at BLUE Block (2 miles east of the access road - Mile Marker 172) and YELLOW Block (White Sands National Park /mile marker 200). San Augustin Pass and LC Gate are NOT affected; however, Nike Avenue will be affected by this block. Be advised all blocks are subject to change without notice.

Early morning construction work will take place beginning at 3 a.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at 3900 Central Avenue (Fire Station 9 entrance).

This is a courtesy notice that sounds may be louder at this time due to the contractor placing concrete in the new exit drive. It will need to be poured during cooler early morning hours to allow it to be properly placed and finished.

Supporting Our Partners at Jardin de los Niños! 🍋✨

At La Casa, Inc., we love standing alongside our incredible community partners. Today, we are excited to share a wonderful fundraiser hosted by our friends at Jardin de los Niños, and we would love for our community to help them reach their goal!

Jardin de los Niños invites you to support their After School Lemonade Stand! Here are all the sweet details:

When: Tuesday, June 16, from 10:00–11:00 AM
Where: La Tienda, 335 La Colonia Ave., Las Cruces, NM 88005

Their afterschool students will be selling delicious lemonade for just $0.50, with all proceeds directly benefiting their classroom and helping fund special movie days! 🎬💛

Not only is this a fun summer treat, but this activity also gives the students a wonderful hands-on opportunity to practice their money counting and customer service skills. Because of this, small bills and change are greatly appreciated at the stand!
