What a weekend. 🔥
Got to experience the Marvel x Magic: The Gathering prerelease, crack packs, play some awesome games, and pull some absolute heat along the way.
Some of my favorite pulls had to be:
✨ Avengers Assemble!
✨ Heaven-Sent Marvel
✨ The Invincible Iron Man (comic cover treatment is insane)
✨ Tony Stark // Iron Man
✨ Namor the Sub-Mariner
✨ Doctor Doom and Doctor Doom, Unrivaled
✨ And finishing it off with that psychedelic Marvel Tales Thanos!
The comic cover variants are easily some of the coolest treatments Wizards has done. As a longtime Marvel fan and MTG player, seeing these worlds collide has been an incredible experience. The flavor, artwork, and mechanics all feel like they were made with fans in mind.
Huge shoutout to everyone who came out to the prerelease. Nothing beats opening packs together, seeing everyone’s reactions to crazy pulls, and getting to sling spells all weekend.
Now it’s time to start brewing some decks… because there are way too many cards I want to build around already.
