Waverly Hills Sanatorium- It opened in 1910 as a
Tuberculosis hospital where thousands of people died. It had a “body chute” tunnel where it transported bodies.
Octagon Hall Museum- This building was a family home, Civil War field hospital, and a stop on the Underground Railroad. It’s busy with paranormal activity and Confederate and Union soldiers are often seen in the basement.
Old Talbott Tavern- The oldest western stagecoach stop for people traveling west. Was built in 1779. A lady in white is seen sliding the hallways and disappearing through solid doors.
Pope Lick Trestle- Home of the Goat Man. Legend says he will hypnotize people and lead them to the middle of the bridge as a train is coming.
Cave Hill Cemetery- The most famous apparition is a “Lady in Black”. She is a grieving widow who lost her husband in the Civil War. She is seen at night carrying flowers and wondering around headstones.
