It was an honor to join one of the most famous broadcasters in the world on his show, Piers Morgan Uncensored. We discussed the potential ban of TikTok and if indeed this social media app is a trojan horse for China's government.

When watching this interview you'll notice that many people fail to understand how TikTok actually works. There are actually two versions of TikTok one that operates domestically in China called "Douyin (抖音) and one that operates around the world called TikTok.

The best part of this interview is when Piers admits that China's government using a more totalitarian approach to monitoring people's social media usage might not be a bad thing! 😳 It caught me by surprise but healthy debates like this are needed when we are discussing topics as complex and nuanced as China.

Earlier this week, an 18 year Chinese student was stabbed in the head while exiting a bus near Indiana University. When the police asked the attacker why she attacked this young woman the attacker responded "Because she is Chinese, it would be one lesson person to blow up our country".

Asian hate crime is one the rise in America and I believe there is a direct correlation to how our media teaches us to fear China. Western media often tells us that China engages in "Debt Trap Diplomacy" this theory implies China gives unreasonable loans to poorer countries in hopes of enslaving them in debt and eventually taking over their assets.

Overturning Roe vs Wade is a monumental decision for 🇺🇸. This has been the law of the land for 50+ years. Here are some things to consider:

Currently 🇺🇸 offers mothers:
- Zero Universal Healthcare
- Zero Universal Childcare
- Zero Paid Family & Medical Leave

What 🇺🇸 does offer is:
- One of the highest rates of maternal mortality among rich nations

If we are going to overturn this decision, the 🇺🇸 government needs to follow other nations (like 🇨🇦) which offer the following:

- Federal Mandated Maternity Leave (18 months in 🇨🇦)
- Medical Costs of Giving Birth 100% Covered by the Government
- Child Benefit for Diapers/Formula ($6k year in 🇨🇦)
- Affordable Childcare and DayCare Options ($10/day for those in need)

Is the 🇺🇸 government prepared to do this? Of course not and for this reason I can completely understand why many woman in 🇺🇸 are completely outraged at this decision.

It's easy to overturn a decision but how are we going to take care of these millions of new babies born in this country? Adoption? No chance, it's almost impossible to adopt and cost tens of thousands of dollars.

IMO if this is the new law of the land for 🇺🇸 we need a government that actually provides and takes care of mothers and babies, forget sending $40 billion dollars to Ukraine, let's start taking care of our mothers and babies
