Dinner date at the 3-Michelin Star restaurant Hell's Kitchen by Chef Gordon Ramsay. I have been a fan of this show for years so actually dining here was a dream come true!

It was so hard to book a table here even for weekdays. I had been waiting for a cancelation since we arrived in Las Vegas. It was fully booked already for April. Turns out there are more fanatics out there who share in my slightly masochistic reality cooking show dream. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Luckily, a table just opened while we were refreshing the Open Table web page one day so we booked it immediately and didn’t care at all about the time.

The decor was absolutely beautiful. The Kitchen was open and you can see the teamed cooks wearing the same red and blue uniforms contestants use on TV.

I had the Beef Wellington, Lobster Risotto, and Onion Soup. I ordered sticky toffee pudding for the dessert too. Honestly, I wanted to try more dishes on the menu but I was stuffed to the gills at that point.

The overall experience was so surreal minus the part where an irate Gordon Ramsay berates you for overcooking the Filet Mignon or curdling the Béarnaise sauce. Definitely one of the highlights of our Vegas trip. ❀️

Dinner Date at the two Michelin-starred restaurant Picasso by Chef Julian Serrano.

People come to this restaurant as much for the food as for the Picassos. It has original Picasso paintings on the walls and it feels like you're dining inside a museum. You can either sit indoors surrounded by a 200-million dollar worth of art exhibit or alfresco and enjoy a nice view of a hundred million dollar iconic dancing Fountains of Bellagio along the Strip. Either way, it's hard not to have a great dining experience here. From the patio, you can also see the Las Vegas Eiffel Tower which lights up at night so dining outside in Spring feels very much like you're in Emily in Paris or some elegant Parisian movie set.

The restaurant menu was very simple and very French which means lots of oil and butter (kidding πŸ˜‚). It only has 2 pages, left or right. The left side is the tasting menu which consists of a 5-course meal, and the right side is the "Welcome Back" menu, a more flexible 4-course meal. We both ordered the 4-course meal and I thought every course was like a work of art. The Sommelier, the food, the service, and the atmosphere - Everything was impeccably done.πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ

I say the reviews are true. It is indeed an epitome of elegance and an oasis of calm on the noisy Strip.❀️

Dinner date at the Michelin Star Japanese Restaurant, NOBU Caesars Palace. Founded by a partnership that includes Chef Nobu Matsuhisa and Robert De Niro.

I saw a video of Chef Nobu making an "Uni Cup Caviar" in Nobu Los Angeles so I had to ask the waiter if they're serving the same here in Nobu Las Vegas because I couldn't find it on the menu. It's basically Sushi Rice, seaweed, a little bit of soy sauce, a generous serving of Uni and Caviar, and wasabi on top. The waiter went back and said the Chef would gladly make me an Uni Sushi with Caviar. After minutes of waiting, my Uni Caviar was finally served and it was glistening!✨✨ I finished it in one bite and it was so good, so good you would shed a tear not only because it's really a great sushi but also because it was pricey AF! Hhahaahha πŸ˜‚

Another must-try here is the Toro Nigiri, which literally melts in your mouth. "Toro" is a rare fatty portion of the tuna found on its underside. I also ordered the King Crab Amarillo with Uni and Miso Tart for dessert. Nick ordered the Wagyu Taco, A5 Wagyu Steak and a Bento Box dessert.

Nobu probably serves some of the most expensive sushi out there. Does the higher price tag mean better sushi? Is it worth it? Honestly, I've had some really great sushi experiences in Japan that could compete with Nobu but people often forget that this is Las Vegas, an oasis in the middle of the desert. It takes skills and mastery to serve sushi and maintain it's exquisite flavor and quality here in the middle of a freaking dessert. I would say it's an experience of a lifetime. Nick (my partner) and I made some really great memories in this restaurant and we would rather not put a price tag on that awesome experience.

Ok, I think Vegan is the first food trend of 2021 here in the Philippines.

I understand Veganism is not a trend, rather a lifestyle but I think its cool that more and more restaurants are offering vegan friendly options.

Before 2020 ended, Burger King came out with a plant-based Whooper, then a Vegan Lechon was trending. Today, Pagpnta ko sa Starbucks, may plant-based options na rin. The one in the photo is the Starbucks plant-based Lasagna. They also have a plant-based Mince Roll and BBQ Mochi Bun.

I’m not a vegan but I strongly support dietary diversity. This is progress. Progress is cool.❀️
