Lord, I do believe.
Help my unbelief.

When I am tempted to give in to despair or to doubt Your almighty power over all things in life, help me to turn to You and to trust in You with all my heart. May I cry out, with St. Thomas, “My Lord and my God,” and may I do so even when I see only with the faith You put into my soul.

Jesus, I trust in You. Amen.

Amen

The Eucharist is Love Itself, identical to Jesus. Therefore, it is the Sacrament of Love, the Sacrament that overflows with charity. It truly contains the true, living Jesus - the God Who “is Love,” (1 John 4:8) and Who loved us “to the end.” (John 13:1)

All expressions of love, even the highest and the most profound, are verified in the Eucharist. Thus, it is a Love that is crucified, a Love that unites, a Love that adores, a Love that contemplates, a Love that prays, a Love that delightfully satisfies.

Yah

"Natutulog ba ang Diyos?"

Akala ko noong una, sa isang awitin ko lang maririnig ang linyang ito. Darating pala ang pagkakataong tatanungin ko rin ito sa sarili ko.

Napakabigat. Nakakapagod. Napakahirap Niyang hanapin. Nasaan nga ba Siya sa tuwing may pinagdaraanan ang tao?

Ngunit ang tanong, Siya nga ba ang nawawala o tayo?

Sa ganitong pagkakataon, palakihin nawa natin ang ating pananampalataya. Magpasalamat sa Diyos sapagkat binigyan Niya tayo ng sandaling ito, isang pagkakataon na lumago sa Kanyang pag-ibig. Marahil, ang nararanasan mo ngayon ay maaaring isang pagkakataon na malaman nang higit ang tungkol sa Kanya—na di hamak na mas malaki ang Kanyang puso kaysa sa ating problema. Hindi Siya tumitigil sa pagsuporta sa iyo. Palagi ka Niyang binabantayan. Niyayakap at minamahal.

Malaman nawa natin na ang kadiliman sa buhay natin ay hindi nangangahulugang wala Siya rito. Bagkus, isa itong okasyon para makita natin Siya nang buo. Gaya na lamang ng ilaw sa dilim. Sa mga pagkakataong madilim ang paligid, mas naaaninag natin ang Kanyang kapangyarian sapagkat Siya ang ilaw ng mundo. Kaya 'wag ka nang magtaka kung nasaan Siya, dahil minsan, kailangan lang nating hawiin ang luha sa ating mga mata, upang makita natin ang liwanag Niya.

We should be salt and light

The metaphors of salt and light specifically addressed the impact faithfulness should have in the world. It should illuminate and preserve. Like both salt and light, our relationship with God should have an obvious impact on everyone who comes in contact with it. Jesus isn’t just calling us to be devoted, He’s encouraging us to have an influence everywhere we go.
