🎙️ Season Finale — Raising the Standard w/ Marvelyn Navarro, RDH 🤩

Some people work within the profession. Others push it forward.

Marvelyn Navarro has spent more than 15 years doing exactly that — combining clinical precision, advocacy, and leadership to elevate what periodontal care and RDH autonomy can look like.

As the founder of Perio Precise and current President of the Nevada Dental Hygienists’ Association, Marvelyn is focused on one mission: making periodontal therapy more precise, predictable, and impactful while creating greater opportunity for hygienists to lead, own, and shape the future of the profession.

In this episode, we dig into:
⚡ RDH autonomy and business ownership
🔥 Periodontal disease and the oral–systemic link
🌍 Advocacy, mentorship, and leadership within the profession
📈 Raising the standard of clinical care through precision therapy

We also talk about grit — what it means to be the firstborn daughter of Mexican immigrants and how that legacy continues to shape her leadership and mission.

No fluff. No shortcuts. Just a conversation about precision, purpose, and raising the standard.

Meet this week’s guest, Marvelyn Navarro, RDH! ✨

Marvelyn is a dental hygienist, educator, entrepreneur, and advocate with more than 15 years of clinical and administrative experience. She is the founder of Perio Precise, where she focuses on advanced periodontal therapy using periodontal endoscopy and provides clinical training to hygienists across the country.

🎙️ Episode Live — The Cost of Misalignment w/ Caitlin Parsons, RDH, C-IAYT, CEAS

Pain shouldn’t be a rite of passage.

Caitlin Parsons — known as The Aligned Hygienist — has spent over 17 years in clinical dentistry confronting what many professionals quietly accept: chronic pain, burnout, and nervous system overload disguised as “just part of the job.”
This episode challenges that culture head-on.

In this conversation, we dig into:
⚡ Why pain has been normalized in dentistry
🔥 Burnout as a nervous system issue — not just a workload issue
📈 Ergonomics as business strategy, not optional self-care
🌍 Why clinicians are leaving — and what education is missing

High performance shouldn’t require self-destruction.

No fluff. No motivational clichés. Just an honest look at what misalignment costs — physically, mentally, and operationally.

Meet this week’s guest, Caitlin Parsons, RDH, C-IAYT, CEAS! ✨

Caitlin is a nationally recognized ergonomics consultant and certified yoga therapist known as The Aligned Hygienist. With over 17 years of clinical experience, she bridges dentistry, movement science, and stress physiology to help dental professionals build sustainable, high-performing careers.

After navigating her own journey through chronic pain early in her career, Caitlin restructured the way she practiced dentistry — not by pushing through discomfort, but by understanding biomechanics, nervous system regulation, and the operational systems that influence clinician health. Today, she works with dental teams and organizations to integrate ergonomic strategy, stress regulation tools, and leadership practices that support retention, productivity, and long-term professional longevity.

Her work challenges the culture of silent suffering in dentistry and reframes alignment — physically, mentally, and operationally — as a strategic advantage, not a luxury.

This Friday, we talk pain normalization, burnout, and The Cost of Misalignment in modern dentistry.
