CLASSMATES MOCK A POOR BOY FOR LIVING IN AN OLD TRAILER – ONE DAY, THEY SEE HIM SITTING IN A LUXURY SUV
Sam grew up turning lemons into lemonade. His dad passed away when he was just a baby, so when he was older, Sam helped his mom, Susan, make ends meet whenever he wasn't in school. They lived in a trailer park because affording a house or even an apartment wasn't an option.
At school, Sam was the target of constant teasing. The bullies never let up, calling him names like "bum" and "broke boy." Jared, one of the worst, once sneered at him, "People like you are stuck living in trailers forever!"
But Sam didn't let their words break him. His mom had always taught him to have thick skin if he wanted to get through life. He kept his dreams alive — dreams of eventually buying a mansion for himself and his mom.
Then, one day, Jared noticed Sam was missing from school. With a smirk, he turned to his friends. "Let's go see what the broke boy is up to in his little tin can," he joked.
