As a majority of you may know, I am a Flight Attendant. I’ve been flying for the last 2 years and for the first time, my mother was able to join me on one of the flights I worked and see me do the thing that I’ve loved doing since I moved away from home. I remember the first time I told her I applied for the job and informed her if I got the job I would have to move from home. She just was sad and didn’t want her baby to leave. But she gave me the opportunity to earn my wings and fly away from the nest. She doesn’t miss me as much because I go home very often. But seeing her taking picture/videos of me while working and telling everyone around her that I was her daughter, I was just glad I made my mother proud and I made the right decision to follow my dreams. Because of her and everyone’s else’s support, I moved to my favorite city, 2K+ miles away from home & doing the thing I love most. I’m glad that my job grants benefits to give back to my parents and give them the opportunity to travel the world at their leisure. Thank you for being my special guest on todays flight Mama Bear. Always making you proud 35,000+ feet in the air.
