COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT 😇❤️💪🏼

Meet Angel Lash, Coordinator of the LIMA Diversion Program at the Eighth Judicial District Court.
LIMA aka Law Enforcement Intervention for Mental Health and Addiction, is a voluntary 9-to-12-month diversion program designed to help people move away from the criminal justice system and toward treatment, support, and a more stable path forward.

Through collaboration between local law enforcement, the court system, treatment providers, and the community, LIMA connects participants with resources addressing substance use, addiction, and mental health needs.

Angel Lash helps coordinate that work and connect people with the support the program provides.
