Honestly, its been a few months, and we all miss Bear so much!

She is the perfect blend of class and cozy, keeping that fresh feeling while still feeling like a home that is so well loved. We are so excited to get back to her and explore more of North America

We only had a short amount of time in
Colorado, but the time we had we used it to really
enjoy spending time together and with bear.

We spent the majority of the time in the Pawnee
Grasslands as we were able to park up and chill for a
while. We we able to clean up the van, let Maya roam,
walk around and explore and just reset after our
months of travel.

We also were able to install our third
156Ah Lithium battery, we never ran out of power with
the 2 but having the third just gives us the ability to go
that extra day when needed. we were also able to
clean up the install, adding a quick disconnect for
storage, along with some new lugs and bus bars
making the electrical area so much cleaner. Again, we

We loved being able to park up and set up camp in the

Ah, the deserts of Utah. If you've followed us for some time, you know that we absolutely love 3 things, snow, mountains, and the open desert!

Did you know that Utah literally has all 3! and they are all literally some of the best in the world!

This was just what the doctor ordered for us after 6 months of fast passed ski travel, some chill time to explore and ride mountain bikes in the desert. We also received our amazing Ohmmu Lithium batteries while here, so Jake used the downtime to drop 2 in to see how they fared against our old AGM units.

Zion National Park is best known for being Utah’s first national park, and it has to be up there as the most serene! When we arrived, we parked up in the main lot and made our way to the buses (which run on select days).

We toured all the way alongside weeping rock, past the winding switchbacks of Angels Landing and all the way down to the watery paths of the Narrows. On this particular day, the Narrows were closed due to high rainfall a few days prior, so we settled for a walk to view the entrance.

This place was nothing short of magic.

We absolutely will be back here to explore more and especially want to come tick off the Narrows — If this hike is on your bucket list, be sure to watch the weather and check for any updates on the Zion website ahead of time so you aren’t caught out like we were!

If we thought had our hearts, southern Utah confirmed it.
After a few weeks of chasing powder, we were in need of a much needed break that came in the form of hot springs and slow mornings by the fire.
Our favourite stop was by far Fifth Water Hot Springs!
I know this is a popular hike, but i feel like it should be an absolute must in the winter — easily one of the best things to do in Utah in winter. Something about trekking up through the snowy fields and then soaking in the tub surrounded by white…
of course we also made a coffee and drank them while sitting in the natural steaming tubs like weirdos — and loved every second.

Vegas Baby!
So our expectations of Vegas were that it was a city that never slept, and most if not all of its attractions were best experienced at night..? We were wrong, so even though it is a city that never sleeps, this only refers to its casinos, bars and strip clubs.
So funny story, we got dressed up for a night out to celebrate 5 year anniversary, with a bunch of attractions to hit off we decided to start early at 9pm... by the time we walked our way up the very very long vegas strip, most of the attractions we wanted to check out were closed! so we decided to get some food as we were starved... nope once again, no restaurants, just bars and a random chicken joint...

Anyway we came back to the bus and slept that one off and decided to make it a 2 day adventure and do day 2 properly.
We went out and got the Bacchanal buffet at Ceasars Palace, before exploring the strip in the day and watching the fountain at the Bellagio.
We then moved on to the Museum of Selfies, which was a hoot! Before going and getting $10 tattoos at Koolsville Tattoos and ending the day strolling down Freemont Street as the sun set.

All in all, go with day 2! haha
