🎤🔥 Above the Law – West Coast Pioneers & G-Funk Architects 🌴🎶

Straight outta Pomona, California, Above the Law emerged in the late ‘80s as one of the rawest and most innovative voices in West Coast hip-hop. Led by the late Cold 187um (a.k.a. Big Hutch), along with KMG the Illustrator, Go Mack, and DJ Total K-Oss, the group helped shape the sound that would dominate the early ‘90s — G-Funk. 💥🎧

Their debut album “Livin’ Like Hustlers” (1990), executive produced by Dr. Dre and Eazy-E, was a game-changer — blending hardcore street narratives with funked-out production. Long before the mainstream caught on, Above the Law was laying down the blueprint.
