A Pennsylvania volunteer firefighter was ARRESTED after SETTING multiple fires then responding to the fires with his OWN department in a 30-hour arson spree 😳🔥
Justin Sholly, 29, from the Perseverance Volunteer Fire Company allegedly set three INTENTIONAL fires over 30 hours in late May 👀
He lit a pile of logs, then a garage and barn in Souderton just 50 feet from two homes, and finally a massive inferno that destroyed a barn, three vehicles, a shed, an outhouse and a gazebo. Sholly responded to two of the fires alongside his own crew 🤧
Police tracked his black 2015 Ford Edge on surveillance near every scene. He ADMITTED setting all three fires and said the final big blaze was REVENGE, he set it near the home of his former boss who fired him in 2025.
Evidence like fire starter logs, lighter fluid and a Motorola fire radio was found in his car and garage. 18 people were put in harm’s way but nobody got hurt. He’s now facing multiple arson charges, $500,000 bail, and a preliminary hearing on June 10.
