Almost a decade together and 6 years of them married to you. I can’t believe it was just 6 years ago we tied the knot; still feels like yesterday. My how the time has flown by. 🥹🥲
6 years ago, I vowed to you that I would always take care of you and our kids until the end of time. You are my ride or die, my best friend, my soul mate, my forever guy, and the best part…..my husband.

When I feel lost I turn to God. I ask him to reveal things to me that I need. I open the Bible with eyes closed and point, wherever my finger lands I read that verse.

This is so relevant and what I needed. It’s so true, pray, ask God for the things you want, thank Him for the things you want and don’t have just yet but know He will bless you with. Put forth the hard work and reap the rewards. God is so good and so faithful. 🙏🏻🤍

To all the parents out there who work hard and struggle every single day to put food on the table for your family, who work endlessly to keep a roof over their heads, clothes on their backs, and smiles on their faces…this one is for you.

Lord bless those who go to no end to provide for their families. Make 2024 a year of prosperity, success, victories, gratefulness, love, and fulfillment. Let them know their worth. When they feel that they are at their lowest of lows and want to give up, when they’ve lost motivation, when they ask “why me”. Assure them why them, that they are strong and can overcome anything. They are warriors! Open up a door of opportunity for them to walk through that will be a new beginning for their families. Let them know their fire is not dwindling and it is about to be bigger than ever. Thank you Lord, I pray and ask this in Your Holy and Righteous name, Amen. 🙏🏻

I can’t express this enough.

When I tried breastfeeding my daughter (who is now 6), I wasn’t producing like I should. I had so many issues, trying so hard to keep to a strict schedule like they told me to, which only cause me to be stressed.
Stress can lead to lack of milk production. I only breastfed for 4 months with her because I dried up from all the stress and lack of knowledge instead of listening to my body and my baby.

Now with my youngest son, I’m 20 months, still producing milk, and he does more soothe feeding than anything since he eats 3 square meals a day.
I didn’t stick to a schedule with him. I cluster fed, fed on demand whenever he wanted to.
I can’t stand the misinformation that “lactation consultants” try to give you in hospitals sometimes. A lot of the time they try to push formula right off the bat before knowing if you’re wanting to breastfeed or formula feed.

No, I’m not downing formula fed babies either, I understand fed is best and sometimes there are mamas that want to breastfeed and there are issues that come about preventing them from being able to. Definitely give your baby nourishment however you choose. This post is for the mamas that want to breastfeed and have no access to proper information and education.

If you’re choosing to breastfeed, please know that your body is producing colostrum, that is all baby needs those first few days. Those tummies are so tiny and don’t need a lot and grow as you get your milk in. Feed on demand.

I am not a certified professional lactation consultant by any means. I am a mom of 4 kids that has had a lot of experience and done a lot of research. However, I am a doula in training.
