Nung bata ako, napapanuod ko lang sa TV and nababasa ko lang sa libro ang Vatican.

Ngayon, nakatayo ako sa harap nito.
Pero habang nakatingin ako sa napakalaking basilica na ito, may na-realize ako:

Hindi naman ito ang dahilan kung bakit ako naniniwala.

Hindi ako Christian dahil sa mga gusali. Hindi dahil sa mga tradisyon. Hindi dahil sa arts or History

Naniniwala ako dahil sa isang totoong tao na pumasok sa kasaysayan.

A King who left His throne. A Savior who carried a cross. A God who chose to dwell among sinners.

The buildings are beautiful. The history is fascinating.

But Jesus is still the reason I came. Shalom 🙌

Most people think David represents victory over Goliath. But Michelangelo chose to sculpt David before the battle. No giant. No trophy. No celebration.

Just a young shepherd, standing in faith, carrying a promise from God before anyone else could see it.

Sometimes we're so focused on the miracle that we forget the courage it took to trust God before the miracle happened.

The battle that changes your life is usually won long before anyone sees the result.

Faith isn't believing after God moves.
Faith is trusting Him while you're still facing the giant.
