Simple chocolate-Covered Strawberries πŸ“ 🍫

(Stove / Double Boiler Method)

Ingredients

1 lb fresh strawberries

1 cup chocolate chips (milk, dark, or semi-sweet)

1 tsp coconut oil or butter (optional)

Instructions

1. Wash and dry strawberries
Rinse strawberries and dry them completely with a towel. Water will make the chocolate seize.

2. Set up the double boiler

Fill a small pot with 1–2 inches of water and bring it to a gentle simmer.

Place a heat-safe bowl that is larger than the pot on top of it.

The bowl must be wider than the pot so it can rest securely on the rim and not fall inside.

The bottom of the bowl should not touch the water.

3. Melt the chocolate
Add chocolate chips and coconut oil to the bowl. Stir slowly while the steam from the simmering water gently melts the chocolate until smooth.
