Elder Max Russell Hughes has accepted a mission call from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He will serve in the Santiago Chile East Mission. He will be speaking this Sunday, August 31, 2025 at 12 pm in the Whipple Chapel, 121 Whipple Way in Mesquite. He will begin his home Missionary Training September 1, and continue in the Mexico MTC on September 10. Max is the son of Rusty and Josie Hughes of the Summer Crest Ward, Mesquite East Stake.
