This morning I stopped at Home Goods in Baton Rouge, and bought 8 of these Royal Stafford turkey dinner size plates. I had been hoping that they would be available there again this year. I noticed that the rim has an acorn design, but I have seen others that have pumpkins or apples. When I was trying to find out if that is something that changes each year, I discovered that the company, Royal Stafford china, went out of business in January 2025. Their facility was bought by TG Green Cornishware that manufactures a totally different type of china/pottery. I thought that some of the members in this group would want to know this in case they are hoping to add to their collection of Royal Stafford china. I guess eBay, Replacements, and other sites will have to be the go-to places for that in the future.

Good morning everyone, I know this table setting pales in comparison to all the magnificent table setting shown here, but I did want to share a fun table I was able to spruce up real quick for an out of town Milestone Birthday Celebration! I decided last minute to surprise the birthday girl with adding a few special touches to an already made up table at the casual golf club.( nothing specia, just friends getting together or do they thought!) I got up early to go purchase flowers from a local grocery store, stopped at a party store for a few helium helium balloons & birthday necklaces, ran to the bakery for a tray of mini party cupcakes, then ran to the local Home Goods, found discounted party napkins and balloon kit & items to decorate the cuocakes, (purchased the 25 ballon’s, couldn’t blow up by mouth 60 balloons!) Came home and got to work assembling 8 small wine glass center pieces for the tables and left immediately to drive 3 hours to the venue! The birthday girl was definitely surprised! This group is amazing, it inspired me to just get to it! The table decorations were a huge hit for everyone! The golf club staff loved what I pulled together last minute! Thanks everyone for all your great ideas!
