Looking to make the season a little brighter? Henderson Animal Protection Services has launched its Home for the Holidays pet adoption event, offering half-off adoptions for pets one year and older through December 31.

Stop by, meet adorable animals of all sizes, and find the perfect companion to share the magic of the holidays. All adoptions are done in person on a first-come, first-served basis — no appointment needed.

🇺🇸 Honoring Our Heroes in Henderson
Join the City of Henderson as we come together to honor the brave men and women who have served our country at the annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 10 a.m.
The ceremony will feature a heartfelt presentation of 32 new names added to the Veterans Memorial Wall, a presentation of colors, and a special performance by the Henderson Symphony Orchestra.
This annual tradition reminds us of the courage, sacrifice, and unity that make our community strong.
Free shuttle service will be available from the Water Street parking garage to the Amphitheater.
