Megan Loiaconi Hurley

Megan Hurley is a brain injury survivor, educator, and disability advocate who inspires resilience and hope. A former high school teacher, she turned her challenges with cognition and communication into a mission to empower others. As a speaker, Megan has delivered impactful talks at SPEAK events, Leap to Success, and Toastmasters International conferences. She is also an ambassador for the San Diego Brain Injury Foundation. She holds a BA from Fairfield University and certifications in Mental Health & Wellness and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion from the University of South Florida. Her memoir, Hope Survives: Strength After a Traumatic Brain Injury, shares her journey of perseverance. With powerful storytelling, Megan motivates audiences to embrace challenges and find strength in adversity.
