Hey there friends,family, and community!
I’m doing a full rebrand.
It’s been a little over 10 years with “hot dish heather” and I’m done with it! I’m really not that interested in doing gluten free food anymore and I’m board as hell with sharing recipes. I have so much deeper more interesting things to share.
I have been studying religions and philosophy my entire life- and I feel called to go down that path. I went to Christian school as a child and then studied philosophy and ethics in college and went deep into science and quantum theory as well as earth history, minerology, biology, evolution and geology.
I learned of the Kachinas star people and Native American studies from my New Mexican, Cherokee-Hopi grandfather.
Later, I followed the path of Siddhartha and the Buddha.
I would later love to learn all about the Quran from my dear friend and roommate Hilal while living upstairs in his condo with his adorable family, helping to babysit his children and learn their culture.
I never realized that being married to an ex communicated jehovah witness would teach me so much about that religion, but I naturally absorbed story after story over the 10 years we co-habitated.
My great grandmother was southern Baptist. My grandparents were members at the Church of Christ. My mom was a Presbyterian. My Step-Dad was a Nuddhist I mean Buddhist. I think. My brother converted to become Jewish to marry his wife. My father was born into a large Irish catholic family and most of them married into large Italian Catholic families… needless to say, I had plenty of exposure to ideological differences and belief systems in my life and I am very much open minded about it now and I have a good understanding of what I am talking about in my own life and what I am called for. I have a very strong faith in God - a solid relationship with The Great Spirit - The Source- Thee One- Creator- and we have a Union that I feel called out to share, a need to share my story to help others so that we may remember and rise together.
To heal together-
We are together.
We are all one.
We exist in The æther.
