Our Story

My name is Jacob Lewis, and I started JCL Aerial Services in 2018. I went to the Universtiy of North Dakota in pursuit of Commercial Aviation, and in 2016 I graduated with a degree in Aviation Management. I had received my Commercial Pilot Certificate and my Flight Instructor Certificate while in college, and loved flying, but I knew I wanted to do something different than becoming a commercial pilot. I have always loved remote controlled devices, and began noticing the rise of the drone industry. I then got my PT. 107 certificate (Commercial Drone License). As a commercial pilot, I have been able to apply all of my knowledge relating to aviation towards the drone industry to provide a professional experience for my clients.
