Arizona, US ~ A study from Arizona State University finds that dogs given CBD over time exhibit a decrease in aggressive behavior.

The study analyzed data from over 47,000 dogs, finding that those with conditions like cancer or arthritis were more likely to use CBD. Results indicate that consistent use correlates with a decline in aggression intensity, which could have implications for dog training.

Researchers emphasize the need for more studies to determine CBD’s long-term effectiveness and safety in dogs. They call for further trials with quantifiable data to better understand CBD's role in canine health and behavior.

Also, it’s important to note that these products aren’t regulated by the FDA, so always be sure to do research your before using them on your pets.

Okay stoners, the most anticipated meal of the year is this Thursday. But did you know green retailers often refer to the day before as "Green Wednesday"?

Australia - Researchers from the University of Adelaide in collaboration with German tech company Compolytics have developed a new, non-destructive way to predict the potency of green plants. This method uses a handheld device to scan leaves during different growth stages.

The technique, called "hyperspectral reflectance" captures detailed light reflections from leaves, helping farmers and breeders assess plant quality early on. This can improve crop management, reduce costs, and help ensure plants meet legal regulations.

Future plans include making the device smaller and using drones to scan entire fields, making this technology even more efficient and accessible for the industry.

US - The US h**p industry is facing major challenges after Congress passed a bill with a new ban on most h**p-derived products. The ban was included in legislation that ended  the longest government shutdown in US history.

In 2018 h**p was legalized to boost agriculture and the economy. And it did just that, according to NPR the H**p market generated over $28 billion in sales revenue in 2022.

Experts say 95% of the $28 billion market could disappear in a year. This change threatens over 300,000 jobs, including farmers, manufacturers, and retailers.

Companies have a grace period of one year from November 12, 2025, before the new federal ban takes effect.

Australia, New South Wales (NSW) - Electrical technicians in Australia noticed power surges at a Lake Macquarie property. The power had allegedly been tampered with to bypass the meter box. A known tactic used to avoid massive electricity bills.

That led to the discovery of more than 80 unauthorized plants growing throughout five rooms of the home located in New South Wales.

A 60-year-old man was apprehended and will face charges for diverting electricity without authority, and enhanced indoor green cultivation.

Berlin - Police tracked a suspicious coconut delivery from Hamburg's port to Berlin, and seized more than a ton of green from a shipping container.

Five men have been apprehended in connection. Among those detained was the 69-year-old man to whom the shipment was addressed.

Prosecutors could not immediately provide information about the origin or street value of the seizure. However, investigators say this is one of the largest busts in Berlin’s history.

Omaha, NE - The Omaha Tribe of Nebraska approved Medical Green on their reservation back in July 2025, despite push back from the state attorney general that opposed it.

With that being said, the tribe is now claiming the state ended negotiations on an unrelated tax compact in an attempt to politically retaliate.

Nebraska Attorney General Mike Hilgers admits to no wrong doing and stated "No tribe has any right to a tax compact".

The tribe plans to continue developing their green policies and defend their sovereignty. They've already created their own green commission to oversee rules and regulations throughout their land.

This conflict shines a light ongoing tensions between tribal sovereignty, state limitations, and green laws.

Boise, Idaho - Soon Idaho may be growing more than potatoes.. A group called the "Natural Medicine Alliance of Idaho" is now allowed to collect signatures to get a medical green initiative on the November 2026 ballot.

The goal is to help people with serious health conditions (Cancer, AIDS, MS, Epilepsy, etc.) get regulated assistance with a doctor’s approval. Idaho is one of the few states that has yet to go green. The others include Wyoming, Kansas, and South Carolina.

Past efforts have failed, but hopefully they'll be luckier this time around. To qualify, supporters need to gather at least 70,000 signatures by April 30, 2026.

Ocean City, Maryland. Police are asking for volunteers from the community to puff the magic dragon as they observe for "research".

They're calling it a "Green Lab". They view it as an educational opportunity for the Ocean City Police Department and Montgomery County Police.

The organizers said they want everyone involved to gain a better understanding of the impact of green impairment.

There's been no mention of compensation but participants must be at least 21 years of age, and you'll have to PROVIDE their own green.

In 2020, a 76 year old woman from Washington DC, was disturbed by a strong skunk odor radiating from a neighbors unit that she shares a Duplex with. She decided to sue him over the continual skunk funk, citing that she wants fresh air in her home and the fumes bother her.

After five years of representing herself in court, she won her case in the DC Court of Appeals, which protected her right to enjoy her property. The court ruled that the neighbors medical green usage was frequent enough to affect her, despite his claim he only would smoke briefly to relieve health issues.

The neighbor is now restricted from smoking within 25 feet of her home, even though they both share the duplex. Some are saying this is a landmark case considering it may have major repercussions in future rulings. I mean, what's to stop your neighbors from suing you?
