Proposed as a kind of spiritual follow-up to David Rothbaum’s ‘Miniatures’ project, ‘Vessel’ began with a broad archive of recordings Matt created over the past several years. Together, we pulled from that ocean of sketches, fragments, and captured moments to shape a collection that felt like it belonged to the same world. From there, he arranged those pieces into a cohesive sonic narrative, writing new material to fill the gaps and complete the story.

The result is a record that feels both discovered and deliberately composed: part found collage, part intentional construction. Across 17 concise tracks, ‘Vessel’ moves with intimacy, patience, and quiet emotional force. Built with modular synths, tape loops, desktop synthesizers, pedals, and time, the album captures the beauty of small gestures and fleeting impressions. The track titles remain the dates on which each piece was originally recorded, preserving the immediacy at the heart of the project.

‘Splash Around 2’ is the latest dive into PME’s signature dreamworld. A high-gloss, jazz-tinted, genre-melting mixtape where beatz tangle with futurewave, and every track bubbles. What begins as a sun-drenched splash then spirals into a prismatic lagoon of sophisticated rhythms, toasty drums, shimmering synths, intricate saxophone, and bass that hums like the buzz of a waking dream. It’s all buoyed by the free-floating spirit of nu-jazz and texture collage fused together through radical play and careful chaos.

Once again, the inimitable returns on the horn, painting in liquid lines of melody that slip through PME’s sonic mosaics like sunlight through waves. His playing dances between the sinews of each beat, sometimes leading, sometimes supporting, always pushing into unexpected waters.

In true mixtape fashion each track splashes directly into the next. One moment you’re head-nodding to dusty drums under palm trees, the next you’re suspended in a liquid wash, watching colors pulse with eyes closed.

WAX edition pressed on ECO VINYL - this manufacturing process consists of a re-grind of old vinyl, imparting completely unique color combinations. Same quality as standard color pressings. No two records are alike and will vary in appearance from the images.

MC099: & - ‘We Collide, We Shatter, We Grow’ is now available for PRE-ORDER. Link in bio 🎧

Edition of 250 vinyl records (100 pink, 150 black). Originally set for release earlier this year, the album was delayed after the first vinyl test pressings didn’t feel quite right. Rather than compromise, we decided to have a new lacquer cut. The result was worth the wait!

This is an album shaped by resonance, by accident, and by the deep echo of place. Alongside no-input feedback, test equipment, piano, and saxophone, there’s a third collaborator: an abandoned water tank in Colorado ()

Broadcasting from his Berlin studio into the vast metallic belly of “The Tank,” Hainbach let sound bend and return, folding into shimmering, phasing spirals. What began as an acoustic test became a full record — sculpted by echoes, held together by intuition.

But something was missing… until a chance encounter on a Neukölln playground led to a spontaneous session with Swiss saxophonist Simon Spiess. His breath became the voice the space had been waiting for.

Abstract pings meet haunting jazz. Electricity dances with air. Improvisation and structure blur, grounded by emotional gravity.

Fred Thomas may be best known for the melancholic indie pop of Saturday Looks Good To Me, but his long-running fascination with electronics has been just as central to his music. From the sampler-heavy loops of City Center to the kosmische stylings of Hydropark and his Eno-esque role in Winged Wheel, Thomas has consistently explored experimental terrain.

That journey continues with Dream Erosion, a low-key series of synthesizer compositions that began in 2020 as a nightly anxiety ritual. After two quietly released albums and a handful of ultra-limited cassette drops, Thomas now returns with Dream Erosion Pt. VII. The ten tracks blend sparse electronics, subtle hooks, and reverb-rich textures. Minimalist but alive with motion, the album drifts between ambient serenity and warped pop instincts, like a dream you’re sure you’ve had before but can’t quite remember.
