It is with heavy heart and deep regret that we announce the passing of Bryan Samudio. A 2017 Hall of Fame inductee whose name was synonymous with Northern Nevada sports for three decades. Our heartfelt condolences to his wife Jenn, his broadcast families, and the Washoe County Sheriff's Office, as well as all whom Bryan’s passing. May he rest in peace, knowing that his legacy will live long.

Ed is the Senior News Correspondent for KOLO 8 News Now-TV in Reno, Nevada.
He is known for his investigative and innovative stories, earning him awards like the Edward R. Murrow Regional Award and Regional Emmy® nominations.
A founding member of Northern Nevada's Secret Witness Program, which has helped solve over 1,000 crimes. The program's annual award is named "The Ed Pearce Crime Stopper of the Year Award" in his honor.
