This is the reason it's so great to live just minutes away from a world-class equestrian center. The High Roller Reining Classic just started this weekend at the South Point Arena, it runs all the way til next weekend, and admission is free. Watching these perfectly trained horses perform and respond to their riders' commands is a beautiful thing!

Not gonna lie, I'm already thinking autumn, and here in Las Vegas that means the cowboys will be coming to town sooner rather than later...the PBR and the NFR soon afterward. These pics are from a visit to the Professional Bull Riders HQ, in Pueblo, Colorado, back in 2011. We got to meet famous rodeo clown Flint Rasmussen, along with several of the bull riders, plus took a tour of the facility. It's a great memory!

It's Labor Day weekend, and to celebrate we have a two-fer for you today on our LVIO YouTube channel! Whew, it's the last day of August, and tomorrow is Labor Day - where the heck did the summer go?? Flew by in a blast of heat and a few flips of the calendar! And already people are lining up for pumpkin spice lattes...

That reminds me of food...how about we head out and grab some lunch? Not on the Strip, not on Fremont, but out in the neighborhoods, where the locals go for great food and service! First, an all-you-can-eat buffet at Taj Palace, and then a tasty lunch at Hawaii's favorite diner, the infamous Zippy's.
