A Clock with a Story

This is more than just an old clock sitting on my desk—it’s a piece of my family’s history.

While my great-uncle was serving on an island, he came across a B-29 bomber. He removed this eight-day mechanical aircraft clock and handmade the display from parts he found on the plane, including the .50-caliber rounds mounted beside it.

He gave it to me years ago, and today it still sits on my desk as a reminder of him, his military service and the incredible generation he represented.

It may be a small clock, but the story behind it is larger than life. 🇺🇸

I sure hope not. But no matter what fuel prices do, we have to keep moving forward.

That means adjusting our habits, watching every unnecessary mile, building fuel costs into our pricing, and operating smarter wherever we can. Complaining won’t fill the tank or finish the job.

Business owners and contractors will adapt because quitting isn’t an option for me.
