Does anyone remember RENEGADE? I still love the intro and theme song—it really captures the vibe of mid-to-late 90s television. I used to watch it as a kid and just recently discovered that the entire series is available for free on Pluto TV, Tubi, Roku, and Plex.

The film we are watching today is Randolph Scott's "Hangman's Knot."

The film was directed by Roy Huggins, who would later go on to create "Maverick," "The Fugitive," and "The Rockford Files." Huggins not only became a major figure in early television but also helped lay the groundwork for the modern concept of serialized television and long-form storytelling. Cool, right?!

Synopsis: A tale of revenge, dark secrets, and buried treasures, the film is set against the turbulent backdrop of 1870s Montana. It picks up in the moments before the ex*****on of Isaac Broadway, as he gives his estranged son, Henry, an impossible task: Murder the man who framed him for a crime he didn’t commit.
