Just arrived back in New Zealand for another TOYOTA GAZOO Racing New Zealand Castrol Toyota Formula Regional Championship. This will be my 14th year as the voice of the series which I absolutely love commentating on. This year though is special as we celebrate 20 years of nurturing young talent towards F1 NTT INDYCAR SERIES and in the case of Nick Cassidy and Mitch Evans ABB Formula E . This was a huge moment for the continued rise in women’s motor sport. Chloe Chambers Racing went from pole to Chequers with a perfect performance where she was never challenged. She became the first woman to win an FIA Formula regional TOYOTA GAZOO Racing New Zealand and she continues to tear up the tracks around the world. It was a joy to be there that day.

I am so delighted for Liam Lawson and I know world of Formula One wont be disappointed. Those of us lucky enough to be at Highlands - Experience the Exceptional that day - click below TOYOTA GAZOO Racing New Zealand saw this move on Armstrong, already a Ferrari academy driver, and all knew that day how fearless and determined this kid from Auckland would be as he pursued his dream of Formula One. Oracle Red Bull Racing Red Bull F1 were also watching that day and 3 weeks later on his 18th Birthday he was signed for their junior program. Now he has an F1 seat with Visa Cash App RB and I know I speak for all who know this fine young man we are all delighted for him.
