“Gonzo” Greg Spillane has been a major-market announcer. producer, and creative services director since the mid 80′s, so he’s a pro when it comes to creating voice-overs, spots, and promos that cut through. These days his focus is on the Noise Department, a boutique audio production house for voice-overs, audio production, and copywriting. Projects include radio spots, radio promos, radio station

voices, audio for video, corporate videos, documentaries, audiobooks, character voices, phone systems, event announcements, and much more. Greg began his career in his final years of high school, working as an intern at Fidelity Recording Studios in Hollywood, learning the trade from engineers and producers who were making million-selling records for bands from Survivor to the Ramones. Greg has appeared on Comedy Central, MTV, and UPN, as well as turning up in a number of music videos, including one from Judas Priest. Judas Priest.) He’s also been featured in a variety of television commercials, some of which were actually daring enough to show his face. His radio work has won several awards, including an Electronic Media Award for Outstanding Radio Station Imaging in 2012. Gonzo’s experience also includes several years as creative director at a major advertising agency, writing and producing the highly successful and pervasive celebrity endorsement spots for the Tahiti Village resort in Las Vegas, which featured Hollywood talent such as Burt Reynolds, Daryl Hannah, and Michael Madsen. Mr. Spillane still resides in Las Vegas, where among other things, he is a PA announcer for the Fabulous Sin City Roller Girls. Sunday afternoons he’s calling the hard-hitting Roller Derby action, the rest of the time he’s ready to help you with whatever audio project you have in mind.
