You’ve got $15 to build your PERFECT 24 hours in Las Vegas. 🎰🍸

One hotel. One meal. One show. One gambling denomination.

And you cannot spend more than $15.

I’ve stared at this thing for an embarrassingly long time, but I think I’ve got mine:

🏨 $4 — The Cosmopolitan
🍔 $3 — Tom’s Watch Bar
🎭 $5 — Absinthe
🎰 $3 — 10¢ slots

TOTAL: $15

Cosmo balcony, food and drinks at Tom’s, Absinthe at night… then whatever dignity and bankroll I have left gets handed over to a 10¢ slot machine. 😂

I’m pretty comfortable with those life choices.

Happy Wife Appreciation Day… seriously. ❤️

If you’ve watched our Las Vegas vlogs on YouTube, you may have wondered whether Ashley and I actually like each other — never mind love each other. 😂

We bicker. We roll our eyes. We push each other’s buttons. And, at times, we appear to be doing everything in our power to get under each other’s skin.

The truth is… that’s us.

What you see on camera is pretty much exactly who we are off camera.

We have a sense of humour with each other that some people may find a little… unconventional. 😂 But I genuinely believe it’s also one of the things that has kept us together — and sane — for 20 years.

We had two kids pretty young in life. And to suggest we carefully planned it that way would be a big, fat lie.

A sense of humour was pretty important when we were in our very early 20s, getting calls from friends asking us to come out to the bar while toddlers were screaming in the background.

It was pretty important when we were so broke that renting a movie on a Friday night could legitimately require what felt like a family budget meeting.

And it was really important when we lost family at ages when most people are still fortunate enough to be able to lean on theirs.

Through all of it — and all of the chaos that’s come since — we’ve always been able to laugh.

At life.

At ourselves.

And, most frequently, at each other. 😂

Tomorrow morning, you finally get the answer to a very important scientific question:

How many drinks can one person realistically consume in ONE day in Las Vegas? 🍹😂

For Day 3 of our latest Vegas adventure, I made the extremely responsible decision to keep a running tally of EVERY. SINGLE. DRINK.

And because apparently we believe in starting our experiments under the most controlled conditions possible…

It began with bottomless mimosas at Alexxa’s.

From there, Ashley and I somehow stumbled our way through:

Apparently some people willingly go on vacation somewhere OTHER than Las Vegas. 🤨😂

One of my buddies: “I think we might go somewhere different this year.”

Me, immediately: WHY?!

Look, I understand there are beaches. Mountains. Europe. Other perfectly lovely places.

But have those places considered having the Bellagio fountains, 24-hour casinos and the ability to make several terrible financial decisions before breakfast? 🎰🍹😂

Happy National Cheeseburger Day! 🍔

Here’s my potentially friendship-ending Las Vegas opinion:

I’d take an In-N-Out Double-Double over Gordon Ramsay Burger at Planet Hollywood. Every. Single. Time.

There. I said it. 😂

We ended up at Gordon Ramsay Burger hungry, more than a little intoxicated, and mostly looking for somewhere nearby to sit, eat and people-watch.

And once again, we left thinking the exact same thing:

“That was… fine.”

And for me, fine is the problem.

The burger was fine. The service was slow. Our server seemed less than thrilled to be there. Nothing was terrible — but when you're paying Vegas celebrity-chef prices, shouldn't the experience be better than fine?

Now compare that with In-N-Out.

For a fraction of what we spent, I thought the Double-Double tasted better. The staff were smiling, joking around and somehow moving with the precision of a NASCAR pit crew. 😂

Cheap? Yep.
Fancy? Absolutely not.
Did I enjoy it more? 100%.

And I'm completely willing to spend stupid amounts of money on food in Vegas when the experience earns it. Incredible food, amazing service, great atmosphere? Take my money. 💸

But when we're talking about something as beautifully uncomplicated as a cheeseburger…
sometimes less really is more.

So, for National Cheeseburger Day, you've got these two options in Vegas:

🔥 Gordon Ramsay Burger
