I’m slowly approaching 9 months since I’ve had tommy john surgery. It’s been a crazy journey filled with a lot of set backs but I’ve stayed consistent and I’m slowly getting back to where I was before. The goal is to get back on a field within 3-5 months so stay tuned

The past 8 months of being the head coach for these kids has been a rollercoaster of an experience but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Isolating the upper half can lead to a couple of benefits for throwers
-Cleans Up Arm Action: These drills force the athlete to not get too long with their arm action and it also doesn’t allow them to short arm their throws
-Takes The Lower Half Out Of The Equation: This allows the athlete to solely focus on their upper half. Sometimes as coaches we throw too many cues at our athletes and we don’t allow them to focus on the most important things
